George F. Belanger
–Secretary-Treasurer and Executive Officer
George has been a member of Teamsters Local 59 since 1988. He served as Shop Steward on behalf of the members at UPS-Dartmouth for 12 years. George worked at United Parcel Service out of the Dartmouth Facility prior to becoming a full-time officer of the Local. In January 1996, he was elected to the position of Recording Secretary for the Local and in January 2005, he went on to be elected to the full-time office of President and Business Representative. George was appointed to the position of Secretary-Treasurer and Executive Officer effective August 1, 2009. In November 2010, George was elected to the position of Secretary-Treasurer and Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2011. In addition to being a full-time officer of Local 59, George has held and currently holds the following positions:

Philip R. Sullivan
–President and Business Representative
Phil has been a member of Teamsters Local 59 since 1991. He served as Shop Steward on behalf of the members at Maritime Terminal for 3 years. Phil worked at Maritime Terminal in New Bedford prior to becoming a full-time officer of the Local. In January 2001, he was elected to the position of Trustee for the Local and in January 2005, he was re-elected to Trustee. Accordingly, he was then appointed to the full-time office of Vice President and Business Representative. Phil was appointed to the position of President and Business Representative effective August 1, 2009. In November 2010, Phil was elected to the position of President and Business Representative, effective January 1, 2011. In addition to being a full-time officer of Local 59, Phil has held and currently holds the following positions:

Manuel S. Amaral, Jr.
–Vice President
Manny has been a member of Teamsters Local 59 since 1977. He is serving as Shop Steward on behalf of the employees at United Parcel Service at the Dartmouth Facility and has been since 2001. Manny works at the UPS Facility in Dartmouth as a Feeder Driver and was elected as Trustee of the Teamsters Union Local No. 59 Executive Board in January 2005. Manny was appointed to the position of Vice President effective August 1, 2009. In November 2010, Manny was elected to the position of Vice President, effective January 1, 2011. In addition to being a part-time officer of Local 59, Manny has held and currently holds the following positions:

David L. Merritt
–Recording Secretary
David has been a member of Teamsters Local 59 since 1986. He served as Shop Steward on behalf of the members at Steamship Authority-Martha's Vineyard for over 19 years and serves on the contract negotiating committee. David works at the Steamship Authority in Martha's Vineyard as a Ticket Seller and was elected as Recording Secretary on the Teamsters Union Local No. 59 Executive Board in January 2005. In addition to being the recording secretary, David has held and is currently holding the following position:

Donald I. Drew
–Trustee
Don has been a member of Teamsters Local 59 since 1993. He serves on the contract negotiating committee and as Shop Steward on behalf of the members at the Falmouth Schools and has been for over 15 years. Don works as Head Custodian at the Lawrence Junior High School and was appointed to the Trustee position effective November 1, 2011. Don is active in the Falmouth community and is the proud parent whose son has served 2 tours in Iraq. In addition to Trustee, Don currently holds this position:

Shad Soares
–Trustee
Shad has been a member of Teamsters Local 59 since 1986. He serves on the contract negotiating committee and as Shop Steward on behalf of the employees at GM Construction in Acushnet and has been since 2001. Shad works at DW White/GM Construction as a Truck Driver and was elected as a Trustee of the Teamsters Union Local No. 59 Executive Board in January 2005. In addition to being a trustee, Shad has held and is currently holding the following position:

Nancy A. Souza
–Trustee
Nancy has been a member of Teamsters Local 59 since 1983. She serves on the contract negotiating committee and as Shop Steward on behalf of the employees at the Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School and has been since 2003. Nancy works at Old Colony High School as a physical education instructor and was elected as Trustee of the Teamsters Union Local No. 59 Executive Board in January, 2008. In addition to being a trustee, Nancy currently holds the following positions:

David Sebastiao
–Conductor
David has been a member of Teamsters Local 59 since 1988. He is serving as Shop Steward on behalf of the employees at United Parcel Service at the Dartmouth Facility and has been since January 2005. David works at the Dartmouth Facility as a Package Car Driver and was appointed to his position as Conductor for Local 59 Meetings in January 2005.
Ruben Macedo
–Warden
Ruben has been a member of Teamsters Local 59 since 1989. Ruben works at Brittany Dye and Printing in New Bedford and has served as Shop Steward for the employees for twenty years. He was appointed to Warden effective September, 2009.
Donna M. Saunders
–Office Manager
Donna started working for the Teamsters in March 1984 with the Teamsters Welfare Fund. In September 1990, Donna began working for the Teamsters Union Office as the Office Manager.
Lisa M. Roderick
–Titan Operator
Lisa started working for the Teamsters in April 1986 with the Teamsters Welfare Fund. In August 1991, Lisa began working for the Teamsters Union Office as the Titan Operator.
